flowers, but no furniture. |
Yes ladies. That is a step stool you see at my bar counter, and yes. I am eating out of a pan.
Naturally, I thought it was more important to adorn my empty, cavernous apartment with roses and sunflowers before buying any sort of furniture or dinnerware. Duh.
I am currently internetless, soapless (save for dishsoap), chairless (save for two metal folding chairs my dear Matthew insisted to bring against my wishes and to my horror, and some folding table that looks like it emerged from a 1970s church garage sale...but which I have now gingerly accepted to cohabitate with--the chairs and table, not the guy!), table-less, but I am HAPPY and feel BLESSED beyond words can describe:

But ultimately, what I had for breakfast my first day....on the phone non-stop with insurance companies, internet and cable, ADT, etc:
Miss you ladies! I am now at a cafe where I was *supposed* to meet the other two girls in my program. I was there FORTY FIVE MINUTES EARLY (Nat, Amy, and Julia, you would have been proud.) I ordered an omelet and a coffee, ONLY TO LEARN THAT one cancelled, and the other didn't bother to show up even though I texted her to let her know that I was like, hello, already THERE. I am now convinced they are cold-hearted bitches and I miss my Leek Geeks loves--you ladies.
